Judging from the dumber than dumb ones like Bast, Brad Guth, Herb Glazier,

Richard Travisano and HVAC, most Federal Employees and Union Members, the

answer is a resounding YES.



The rest of us can trace back out pedigree to the normal chain of evolution

right here on Earth.

My novel "Stepping Stones" has humankind coming to Earth much further out 22LYs. Most died from Earth being hostile to their cells. They lost their great tectnology,and ended up in caves they cut into mountains. They still had their id. Their large brain. They are us. TreBert

An ideal interstellar spacecraft is simply utilizing an icy planetoid of 7.5e22 kg, because it's perfectly safe and cozy inside of its basalt and carbonado crust. Obviously the enormous South pole crater kinda proves that it could even survive an encounter with an icy planet like Earth.
