Looking forward to the selfies.

Alas, now it seems the reported death of the rabbit is no longer

greatly exaggerated:

So, where is the raw science? (or was everything kind of dead as of day one?)

Is their lander also kaput?

The moon is a harsh environment due to its long day/night cycles. This
leads to huge temperature extremes. It's especially cold during the
lunar night. This deep thermal cycling isn't good for electronics.

Indeed, and now "El Reg" seems to be suggesting it was actually only
pining for the fjords:

Perhaps we should start calling it Franco

There's actually a great deal of planetshine that's worth 50+ times as much as moonlight here on Earth, so it's nighttime environment is not actually dark nor nearly as cold as what you suggest.

Clearly, no raw science from their Yutu or that of its lander is an indication of a science mission failure. We still do not even have any of their raw video or images to go by, because every bit of it has been data corrupted and undocumented, thereby making whatever images near worthless.

Even the technology as to their 400+ K (260+F) CCD imagers has been excluded.

There hasn't been one iota of actual raw science, at least not thus far.
