It's all pretty entertaining to me . . . I know someone who was a couple of
weeks ago, looking for documentss for a discovery request, in the former
files. He was in an office (and looked very much at home) and said
something about what you might think to see hm sitting behind that big desk
.. . . it all makes sense now that I've learned about his personal
situation. No wonder he is trying so hard to make an impression. he'd

chance to do just that, a couple of years ago when I interviewed for a job,
which he declined, probably for just the opposite of personal reasons.
Funny how things change. . . yes, I did see his ring. The day he called me
into hhis office (at 1:00pm on my travel day) and tried to act as though
everything was normal when he said: why are you packing?&nbsp ; you don't
have to leave . . . I said to him ; gee, why did you call me into your
office? was it just to show me your beautiful ring? I then made some
comment about how it must've been a helluva cruise. we just laughed . ..
I had heard that another pal of his might be coming, but thought they had
called it off for budget reasons. And I wonder if the 10/4 thing will
create any new positions ? I wouldn't mind ending up in ATL. Well, I need
to go give a friend if i want it a nudge. We're supposed to be going to
another friend's for a drink; she has a friend in (and I think she could use
a rest after all that she's had going on) and I offered to take her out to a
movie. Lastly, I thought of all of this a couple of weekends ago, when my
niece was visiting and we went to the Smithsonian and gawked at the gem
exhibit. Lots of tourmalines(sp?) . . . ..
