Why we can not find in the web those beautiful color 3D pictures
of Mars? are they holding them for future release in books?

The complete archives are at:

The first two here are aprox 3 MB TIFF files, the last is a 29 MB TIFF
file, made by combining several images.

How do I get the special eye glasses required to view them? I have not
saved the ones I got at the movies a year or two ago.

All of them are in Black and white, where are the color ones showing mars "
red " tones?
they must take 100´s pic every day but just show some of them in these
links.

There are no colour photos from Mars as such, because the rover
doesn't have a colour camera. What it does is to take sequences
of monochrome photos with various colour filters over the lens,
so that scientists can get accurate recordings of the light
levels at different wavelengths in the subjects (which I believe
helps them to identify the composition of rocks etc.). Then, by
combining the information from different images, they produce
their 'best guess' at what the landscape would look like to a
human standing on the surface. That's why you'll see people
discussing whether the colour pics produced are "too red" etc. -
i.e. they may think that the JPL scientists haven't quite got the
colour balance right.

Have a look at this URL for the official explanation about colour
images from Mars:

If you're talking about the rovers, they are not capable of taking
color 3-D images. Only the left "Pancam" camera has filters for
color.

The wavelengths chosen for the Pancam filters favor scientific
efforts. It would have taken a few extra filters to get accurate
color recognition for human viewing, especially in stereo.

You can look at a collection of mono anaglyphs I'm making from raw
images.

http://dualmoments.com/marsrovers

The Pancam's "eyes" are about 4x farther apart than human eyes, so the
stereo pairs create "hyper-stereo." The effect is lessened by merging
the pictures at mid-distance. This also gives the effect of objects
popping out at you.

Also, I combined the multi-filtered images by averaging them. This
yields greater detail than just using one filtered image for each eye.

I'm interested in any comments or corrections.

I remember seeing beutiful colour 3d's from Pathfinder, where there
where only blue (440 nm, should be closer to 480 to be excact) and red
filters (670 nm) in both eyes, and green (530 nm) in the right eye.

The PanCam has 440 nm in both eyes (L7 and R1) green in left eye (L5)
but only one red filter (L3). However, there are filters at roughly
750 nm in both eyes (L2 and R2), which for the reflection spectra at
the surface should be close enough to the red colour.

Though I do not know how these colour 3d's are made, there must be the
possibility to make them in the same way as with Pathfinder images.
