Default My first CCD images

Dear all, last new moon I was eventually able to take my first CCD images
with my TEC140 scope and my Trifid 2 CCD camera mounting a large 6303E chip.
Those shots are just my second light with the working CCD camera and so I
expect to largely improve those results
as my knowledge of the new hardware increase. Even if there are still some
problems to solve with my hardware I am quite happy
with these first results.

Absolutely breathtaking images, Marco.

The TEC 140 is obviously a great imaging platform.

Best regards,
Bill who is now, finally, on DSL

Hi Preston, it is really nice to meet you here ) Yes, you are right, I
left film (just for a while) and now I am experiencing the CCD realm. Anyway
I don't thing I will completely leave the film world, there are still some
shots I would like to take in the old way ) And, of course, the
background I have on film imaging is really helping me to get these first
results!!
BTW, I have just corrected your web address in my link page..
Take care!
Marco

Your shot of the B6 region is simply amazing, Marco.

To find out exactly where this was, I took the liberty of superimposing a
MUCH reduced and rotated copy of it onto a much wider shot of the general
region that I took a couple of years ago:

The star density represented in this region just takes my breath away.

Hi Paul, nice overimposing, that area always intrigued me a lot, it is just
like seeing a sand beach, and all those tiny points are suns!!
