Default ASTRO: NGC 7062 From Colorado Springs

The first night in many months for imaging here in Colorado Springs was 8
Aug. Conditions were not great but the cloud cover was gone so I enjoyed
seeing the stars once again.

I worked on a small galaxy, but did not get a good result but this open
cluster is okay.

Seems so many open clusters don't work for our image scale but that one
sure does.

After a week away from imaging I seem to screw up the first night back.
Too many things to remember.

Tonight was the first sort of clear night here in a while and I just
finished a round on the nova in Vulpecula only to discover I never
turned on auto save so lost all but the final blue image! Trying again
but sky is going down hill fast.

I need a pre-exposure check list like a pilot might use before takeoff.

Rick

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

Doug,

that's a beautiful cluster shot. Your scope gives nice round and well
defined stars.
