ASTRO: The Sun (Ha only as White Light spotless)
Kev wrote: Hiya All As above so only Ha images regards Kev Someone who can actually see the sky! I was beginning to think it was gone for good. 9 days of rain and snow and counting. No doing either at the moment but winter storm warnings are out for tomorrow with 6" of snow forecast. Winter took forever to get here this year now won't leave but sure had a good supply of clouds since November. Looks like we are at minimum all right. Two cycles ago we came out of minimum fast and hard after a lot of near polar prominences were seen. If those top and bottom prominences are near the poles then we may have another fast hard upswing coming with this cycle. Rick |

Temperature in the high 70s. Won't last long, though. Big storms expected tomorrow, with a return of clouds and cooler temperatures the rest of the week. George |

I sure that we've all seen the predictions that this cycle's max will be a lot more active. I'm looking forward to more auroras...... just as long as they don't mess up my galaxy imaging! Also, I'm impressed by Kev's persistence with imaging such a quite sun. George N |
