Default ASTRO: Nikon D200 First Light

My first venture back into astroimaging since 2001.
Took a number of 50mm shots just to test the D200.

Southern Milky Way from Gates Co. NC, USA
Camera mounted piggyback on Losmandy G-11
No filter
50mm f/1.8 Nikkor D lens stopped to f/5.6
18 minute guided exposure/ISO 500
PP done in Photoshop
