Default Station lights, and night sighting.

From my understanding of the lighting geometry - when they were working
in the shuttle bay at times there were lights from ISS shining in the
general direction of the shuttle.
AIUI - these would be quite visible from earth - if you happen to be in
the beam.
Certainly visible with binoculars - possibly naked eye.
Anyone seen it this way?
