Expedition 9 Preps for Arrival of ISS Crew, Return to Earth

Tuesday's work schedule aboard the International Space Station contained
preparations for the arrival of the Expedition 10 crew and the departure of
the Expedition 9 crewmembers. Expedition 9 Commander Gennady Padalka
participated in the second Russian endurance session designed to prepare him
for the return to gravity in late October. Meanwhile, NASA ISS Science
Officer Mike Fincke took inventory of food containers on the ISS for the
Expedition 10 crew.

In other activities, the Expedition 9 crew monitored the progress of Station
science experiments and performed routine maintenance on ISS systems. Fincke
also took an internal photo survey of the Space Station.
