Default Boltzmann Brains and the LCDM Model

Yesterday Sean Carroll and a co-conspirator (who will remain anonymous
to protect the innocent) posted quite a piece of work to arxiv.org.

http://arxiv.org/abs/1308.4686

Title: Can the Higgs boson Save Us From The Menace of Boltzmann Brains?

Relevant quotation from the introduction: "It is apparently necessary
to resolve these issues before we can declare LCDM to be a viable
theory on its own."

I would be interested in hearing how members of the SAR community
candidly and thoughtfully respond to this paper.
