Something To Keep An Eye On
There are reported to be about 10,000 fast radio bursts per day being generated by an unknown population.
Now they (Parkes radio telescope) have observed a FRB in real time. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0119083254.htm Analysis suggests very compact stellar mass objects are the source of the FRBs. Possibly neutron stars or stellar-mass black holes. RLO http://www3.amherst.edu/~rloldershaw |
