Drift aligned G-11
1 minute unguided (single image)
ISO 400
Large/JPEG mode

Auto-levels and resized to ~1024x768 in Photo Shop CS.

Just a quick and dirty shot to test the GEG in the F4 position for FOV.

not too bad Stephen

the stars ar a bit elongated in the horizontal direction but that may be due
to the fact that it was unguided

did you try the GEG's reducer in the rearmost position where its reduction
is minimized?

That's the only position I have used mine thus far but like the results:

http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/Sti...llery_page.htm

all of those images were taken using a CM10Maxcam (currently for sale) and
my GEG with the reducer in the rear position to give my f/12.6 cassegrain an
effective focal ratio of f/7.1

Nice image! Now you need to do a mosaic covering both clusters.

It would be interesting to see what the difference is between a one minute
JPG and RAW with that camera.
