Chapter 30 Titius Bode Rule
Subject: was AP the first to say the Titius Bode Rule was Quantum Mechanics? --- begin quoting from this website --- The Titius-Bode law and a quantum-like description of the planetary systems Authors: Fabio Scardigli /find/gr-qc/1/au:+Scardigli_F/0/1/0/all/ 0/1 (Submitted on 11 Jul 2005 (v1 /abs/gr-qc/0507046v1), revised 30 Mar 2006 (this version, v2), latest version 25 Nov 2007 (v3 /abs/gr-qc/ 0507046v3)) Abstract: The Titius-Bode law for planetary distances is reviewed. A model describing the basic features of this law in the "quantum-like" language of a wave equation is proposed. Some considerations about the 't Hooft idea on the quantum behaviour of deterministic systems with dissipation are discussed. Comments: LaTex file, 20 pages, no figures. Some minor errors corrected, and some references added Subjects: General Relativity and Quantum Cosmology (gr-qc); Astrophysics (astro-ph); Quantum Physics (quant-ph) Cite as: arXiv:gr-qc/0507046v2 /abs/gr-qc/0507046v2 --- end quoting --- --- quoting some old Archimedes Plutonium posts on this subject of the link between Titius Bode Rule and QM --- Correlate Tifft spacing, Titius-Bode, and Balmer Series http:// www.google.com/url?url=http://groups.google.com/g/d8e7fef4/t/54700eee85847d06/d/a10edff06457265b%3Fq%3Dplutonium%2Btitius%2Bbode%2 Bbalmer%23a10edff06457265b&ei=1bmDSrDFC-XllQfktYjSBg&sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&source=groups&usg=AF QjCNE2Eirmje82qq5686IX46V31veAgA sci.physics.particle http://www.google.com/url?q=http:// groups.google.com/group/sci.physics.particle&ei=1bmDSrDFC- XllQfktYjSBg&sa=X&oi=src&resnum=1&ct=res&cd=1&sour ce=groups&usg=AFQjCNGwmS3Hiu3JHKH9n_gTvEXMQwmmqQ - 2 posts - 2 authors - Last post: Apr 17, 1996 pu sci physics particle alt sci physics plutonium sci physics sci physics electromag sci astro In article ... http://groups.google.com/g/d8e7fef4/...0edff06457265b Titius-Bode formula is a primitive Balmer formula http:// www.google.com/url?url=http://groups.google.com/g/0737fefb/t/9087cb30b8c0412b/d/8d0844dc873877f1%3Fq%3Dplutonium%2Btitius%2Bbode%2 Bbalmer%238d0844dc873877f1&ei=1bmDSrDFC-XllQfktYjSBg&sa=t&ct=res&cd=2&source=groups&usg=AF QjCNE4aZQYDgqqXewpfaJlbbpqv3aMXA sci.astro http://www.google.com/url?q=http://g...gle.com/group/ sci.astro&ei=1bmDSrDFC- XllQfktYjSBg&sa=X&oi=src&resnum=2&ct=res&cd=2&sour ce=groups&usg=AFQjCNH00CGi47_KQD1yAqq8HgT2ZqapSA - 7 posts - 3 authors - Last post: Jun 29, 1997 Magnus Nyborg sci astro sci physics sci geo geology Quote from below: The old Titius-Bode formula may have been talking about iron ... http://groups.google.com/g/0737fefb/...0844dc873877f1 Mechanism for the Titius Bode Rule; neutrino switching flavors http:// www.google.com/url?url=http://groups.google.com/g/3be7ff09/t/16a4b84a2e7b540b/d/d08fd82ef1a39483%3Fq%3Dplutonium%2Btitius%2Bbode%2 Bbalmer%23d08fd82ef1a39483&ei=1bmDSrDFC-XllQfktYjSBg&sa=t&ct=res&cd=3&source=groups&usg=AF QjCNHPfMq72GioUSKY0pxZiXOh9wM_pQ sci.physics.electromag http://www.google.com/url?q=http:// groups.google.com/group/sci.physics.electromag&ei=1bmDSrDFC- XllQfktYjSBg&sa=X&oi=src&resnum=3&ct=res&cd=3&sour ce=groups&usg=AFQjCNGzETmu- bUorcxNjgOeYCQLDKyZtA - 14 posts - 8 authors - Last post: Jul 1, 2001 I will need to get the radius of plutonium figured in. The idea that the Titius-Bode Rule is a Balmer or Rydberg geometric progression in the Cosmic Solar System dates back to 1996 with Archimedes Plutonium. I do not see Mr. Scardigli referencing the posts of Archimedes Plutonium. This is not the first instance of a "taking without attribute" from the Internet. There was a case involving some California doctor who published in a journal saying almost the identical words I used in describing Stonethrowing theory as the mainspring of human evolution. And there is the clearcut case of the Dalai Lama using "Universe in an Atom" for one of his books without so much as a reference note to AP. There is the case of "Mathematical Intelligencer" of Chandler Davis, Michael Hardy and Catherine Woodgold of not referencing 2009 Prime Simplicity with my earlier work of the same nature posted as early as 1993 on the same issues. It is about time that all science publishing outlets recognizes that the sci newsgroups of Internet are just as good if not better in publishing than their own magazine or book. And that they need to reference the sci newsgroups in their articles or books. Somewhere along the line, people are going to have to realize that the Internet has to be taken seriously as to the "proper referencing and credit for new ideas". Archimedes Plutonium http://www.iw.net/~a_plutonium whole entire Universe is just one big atom where dots of the electron-dot-cloud are galaxies |
