Default Newbie questions

Hi Guys, I recently got interested in lunar photography. I am just using
relatively basic equipment at the moment Canon 300D with 75-300mm lens and a
3 X teleconverter.
I'm hooked :-)
Hence I was wondering what type of scope I should buy which I could connect
my camera to for better images?
I wouldn't like to spend any more than £500 and that's pushing it a little.

Also I was wondering if there were any free downloadable programs to show
moon phase as I wouldn't like to miss the next full moon opportunity.

Thanks for any info & sorry if these are overly common questions.
