Beautiful image John!

I may have asked you this before........ Are you using a coma reducer on
the Meade, or just relying on the Schmidt corrector?

Thanks George! No coma reducer but, I'm still working on collimation.
Got my artificial star made so I can work on it in the daylight.

Good luck with it John!

The Alpine Astro website claims that the Baader coma reducer lens will
improve the Meade SN's. I discussed the issue with David Nagler about a year
ago and he said that he believes that the Meade SN's are already corrected
enough that they would not benefit form using one of Televue's Parracors. I
hope someone figures it all out before I purchase an 8" F/4!!
