Mook can't stand it when someone points out that the emperor has no

I'd like to see Mook try to sell (in person) his suspended animation
idea to the Astronaut Office at NASA for use on manned Mars missions.
The reception he'd receive there would be far more brutal than any
criticism which can be levied on Usenet news.

Scientific research is great. I support scientific research and do
believe that some of the things in labs today will become mainstream in
the future. But, this is sci.space.policy. We cannot, in good
conscience, base space policy for the upcoming decades on scientific
research that is in its infancy in the lab.
