Well, run for cover as the usual nuisance shows up to remind you how it feels to be cowards.

The British celebrate eccentricity as a type of intellectual brilliance ( JS Mill) but those foolish enough to follow them via the pseudoscience of astrophysics might believe in genius by association when it is simply eccentricity by association.

The Ra/Dec framework on which Sir Isaac hung his clockwork solar system in an amazing indulgence as it attempts to displace the Lat/Long and the 24 hour systems for the basic fact of planetary dimension, shape and rotation.

Inventing a 'flat Earther' to make yourselves feel better hardly is a compensation for be terrified of the fact that the Earth turns its 360 degree circumference in 24 hours.

RA was used long before Newton's time.

RA/DEC are not planetary coordinates, they are celestial coordinates. As such, neither "replaces" the other.
