Neat! But the shot on the right seems brighter; for instance,
there is diffraction flaring on stars on the right that there isn't
on stars on the left. It also looks sharper to me. Is that due

Can the right image be gamma-corrected and blurred just a
bit, to compensate?

The images do look different, but it would be interesting to
see how much of that difference persists once the images
have been placed on an equal footing.

Nice. Just curious if you might have created image that maps the
difference by subtracing the two images? Maybe /w isophotes / false
color?
