While we've had different opinions on some fundimental issues, on THIS issue
we could'nt possibly be in better agreement. It puts me in mind of some of
the class clowns I had the misfortune to try to teach when they were in the
advanced math and physics classes I taught over 30 years ago. There were
many good students but some that just couldn't make the grade. They tended
to be class clowns and tried to justify their existance by being funny,
mostly at the expense of the good students. Well, I've kept track of some
of them. The class clowns - universally - have amounted to nothing. The
ones being scoffed? Doctors, lawyers, CEO's, scientists. What a surprise.
