Default Comet 2006/A1 Pojmanski

First shot rapidly processed before heading to bed. Could just pick
the comet out from my back garden through a gap in the hedge. Field of
view of the image is ~1.5x2.5 degrees.

Reminds me of Hyakatake (sp?). You sure have the knack!

Excellent Pete,

The colour nicely confirms the Swan band C2 molecules seen in my spectrum

Great stuff, Pete. Looks like you had not just a gap in the hedge but
snuck in just under some high fluffy clouds

I really like fact that you got the tail.

What mount do you have that scope on?

That particular shot was taken on a GP-DX mount, unguided. However,
it's quite short and the field quite wide so drive tolerance isn't
that tight.

Cracking picture Grommit - if they handed out Oscars for best images
you'd need to buy a new house :-)

Keep em coming.

You haven't seen my aurora shot from Leeds yet - that wouldn't win an
oscar ;-)
