Default Relative tranquility here to discuss Sandy

There is a turf war going on at the moment between meteorologists who
love to discuss the ingredients that went into making Sandy the
destructive storm that it was and the empirical modelers who would
wish to hijack the interest in the storm itself to promote generalized
modeling.Of course there are no astronomers around to consider the
astronomical inputs which added to the meteorological background in
creating a more devastating flood as landfall struck at the worst
possible time in the daily cycle and the lunar cycle.

So the story of this hurricane will be written against a background of
astronomical and terrestrial conditions and it is not going to be
written by modelers who simply can't work with the Earth's rotation
with respect to the moon and Sun as the location of the East coast in
respect to both was incredibly influential in the flooding damage
caused by an unfavorable position of the East coast in respect to the
moon at the time of landfall along with the lunar position to the
Earth and to the central Sun which added a higher tide.

The ability to predict tidal levels within days and seasonal
variations within the calendar system is another convenience of the 24
hour AM/PM system in tandem with the Lat/Long system as it calculates
variations within a 1461 day cycle and especially the tides which
respond to the rotation of the Earth along with lunar inputs which
condition the highs and lows.Rather than spend the next 40 years
trying to bury the Ra/Dec error, the job of NASA,as the highest profile
organization in the world,is to untangle the different systems from
each other and streamline the whole process where one system arose
from an earlier one.Judging by recent events,NASA has already begun
something of a process of recovery but without any transparency which
would prevent further errors and distortions.

On 31 Okt., 15:39, Squirrel sought yet more corrupt fame:
further errors and distortions.

After a late kick-off due to Sandy conditions:
Manchester Utd 23.9344699 Squirrel Wanderers 0
Squirrel was sent off before half time for a foul on Science in the
goal mouth.
