Nice one Richard,

Various members of the the QCUIAG unconventional imaging group "adopted"
this sn and have been practising their photometry, building up a nice light
curve. Here are a couple of pictures and a spectrum from my collection.

The skies are too light here at the moment though to get a decent
measurement so the last one was taken using the Bradford Robotic Telescope
in Tenerife which is undergoing beta testing.

Hi Robin - what does the BRT cost to use?

Hi Maurice,

You know me. I never pay for something if I can get it for free ;-) It costs
absolutely nothing a the moment in the beta testing phase and they are
looking for people to sign up and use it to load the sytem up a bit.
www.telescope.org In the future it will mainly be an educational
instrument for schools. Not sure if we will be allowed on it then but I
think it will be a few months yet before they get to that stage. The system
is rather quirky though and results are a bit hit and miss at the moment.
Tracking needs some work too but they are getting there. (I get the slight
feeling the computing /robotics are taking precident over the astronomy a
bit- You will see plenty comments from me in the forum on the website ;-)
