Default Help! Which Martian moon did I see?

Clear skies,

Gosh, I need to order SkyTool quickly!

I tried last night with my 4" TV-102 but failed :-(. The weather and
transparency around here has been less than stellar due to Ignacio
tropical storm/huricane :-(. However, this morning (08/28) Mars was at
an interesting location at 7:15 UT as the mag 10 star HD 214379 was
approx. 5 Mars diameter away and the mag 12.5 star GSC 6386-482 was
within 3 or 4 Mars diameter away. I was following photometric
sequences of several stars and HD 214379 was easy with occulating
bar or moved out of FOV and could still be seen (though not easily)
with Mars in full view. Surprisingly, GSC 6386-482 could not be
seen but just a bit further away was a mag 13.25 star GSC 6386-530
could be seen with averted vision. (Now the magnitude number in
the GSC catalog is notoriously inaccurate, about +/- 1 magnitude).
But if GSC 6386-482's actually magnitude was 11.5, then not being
able to see it sort of confirm while I couldn't see Deimos. All
observations were made with my new TMB SuperMono eyepieces.

Alas, I haven't seen a really blue sky in a quite while :-(.
