Default ASTRO: ARP 240 (NGC 5257-8) reprocessed

Also I goofed and said these were the wrong pair of galaxies. They are
NGC 5258 and NGC 5257, left to right. I wasn't using my computer
glasses. The 8 looked like a 6 to me and I didn't catch the error.

After looking at it with the right glasses I realized how blown out the
galaxies were when I brought out the faint tidal arms. So I redid it.
This shows a lot more internal detail.

Also I had the photo details a bit wrong. So have corrected that as well.

14" LX200R @ f/10, L=5x10' binned 2x2, RGB=2x10' binned 3x3,
STL-11000XM, Paramount ME

Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct.
Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh".

Great picture, lots of detail in these small galaxies in spite of the less
than ideal conditions you mentioned in the original post.
