The Messier Ten Minute Challenge

M94 - Galaxy in Canes Venatici

Messier 94 (NGC 4736) is a spiral galaxy with an extremely bright
inner region surrounded by a ring of active star-forming regions.
Further out is a far less bright outer ring of an older yellowish
stellar population.
