I currently have the following old astronomy books for sale. Postage is $2.50
for the first book, and $1 for each additional item (Media Mail postage within
the US, at cost elsewhere). The books a

Toulmin, Stephen E.; Goodfield, June "Fabric of the Heavens: The Development of
Astronomy and Dynamics" New York, NY, U.S.A.: HarperTrade, 1961. The 285 page
softbound book is in good condition. There are a few passages marked with a red
line in the margins, and there is a 1 inch tear along the lower edge of the
front cover. A good reading copy. Available for $2.

Moore, Patrick; Mason, John "The Return of Halley's Comet" Warner Books,
Incorporated, 1985. The 121 page softbound book is in very good+ condition,
fresh and clean inside and out. An observer's guide to the return of Halley's
Comet in 1985. Available for $2.

Tyson, Neil D. "Merlin's Tour of the Universe : A Skywatcher's Guide to
Everything from Mars and Quasars to Comets, Planets, Blue Moons and Werewolves"
New York, NY, U.S.A.: Doubleday Publishing, 1997. The 299 page softbound book
is in near fine condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks, and a strong
binding. Available for $2.

Webb, Rev. T.W. "Celestial Objects for Common Telescopes; Volume Two: The
Stars" Dover Publications, 1962. The 351 page softbound book is in very good
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks. A 1962 reprint of the 1917

1962. The 87 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page
tears or pen marks except for a previous owners gift inscription inside the

hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks

Revised edition. The 692 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean
with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name inside the
front cover. Strong binding. Includes 4 color star maps in the rear of the
text. Available for $4.

Bray, R. J.; Loughhead, R. E. "Sunspots" Mineola, NY, U.S.A.: Dover
Publications, Incorporated, 1984. The 303 page softbound book is in very good
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks, and a strong binding.
Available for $2.

1960. The 423 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean with no page
tears or pen marks. A collection of 69 selections by scientists such as
Einstein and others who cover the development of astronomy. Available for $5.

Brandt, John C. (editor) "Comets : Readings from Scientific American" New
York, NY, U.S.A.: W. H. Freeman & Company, 1981. The 92 page softbound
magazine-sized book is in very good condition, clean with no page tears or pen
marks. A collection of articles from Scientific American Magazine related to
comets, nicely illustrated. Available for $4.

Menzel, Donald H. "A Field Guide to the Stars and Planets, Including the Moon,
Satellites, Comets and Other Features of the Universe" Houghton, Mifflin
Company, 1964. Third printing. The 386 page hardbound book is in very good
condition, clean with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners
name and address on the first title page. Dust jacket is in good condition,
showing quite a bit of wear. Nicely illustrated, published as part of the

Library, 1942. The 334 page hardbound book is in very good condition, clean
with no page tears or pen marks except for a previous owners name and date
inside the front cover. Available for $5.

Johnson, Gaylord "Discover the Stars" Leisure League of America, 1935. The 106
page softbound book is in about very good condition, clean with no page tears
or pen marks. There is a small stain on the page ends near the rear of the
book, which can just slightly be seen in the page margins of the last few pages
of the book. Published as Number 17 of the Leasure League Little Book Series.

Heavens" Whittlesey House, McGraw-Hill, 1948. Revised edition. The 360 page

The boards are very slightly curved, but not bad at all. A detailed look at
