In terms of scientific value, this really was a comet of the century.

The century still has another eighty-seven years to go. Those who will be around in 2100 are the ones who get to make the call.

The best comet of the last century was in 1910.
I was born in1948 so at maximum I'll only have the first half of the 20th
century.
So rather than the comet of the century I'll settle for the comet of a
lifetime.

I meant 21st century of course.
For me the best of my lifetime was Iras Aracki Alcock
