The coolest take-away from TAS was by the end of the book the reader was left to speculate at to whether it was in fact a "natural" life form or an "engineered" life form presented as a space-borne calling card! The coolest of the cool was when the Wildfire scientists watched it mutate and grow from the emission of the electron-microscope alone!
