so the landing craft has a inflatable in tow, a transhab like structure with heat shield built in.


the transhab creates enough drag to slow the vehicles re entry.

could be the same transhab used for transit. it would be disposable once used.

Inflatable habitats are not the same as inflatable heat shields.

Inflatable habitats are not the same as inflatable heat shields.

well they are both the same sort of idea. the heat shield version would be much stronger.

but a heat shield could probably be used a a habitat, but not the other way around
