Default What happens to the fuel after a scrub?

When they scrub a launch, what happens to the fuel and oxidizer that's
loaded into the vehicle? I assume it's drained, but then what? Is it
just put back into storage tanks to re-use the next time, or is it
considered contaminated and they start with fresh fuel each time (and
how would they dispose of the wasted fuel)?

It is drained back into storage and used for the next attempt (at least for the
huge amount in the ET) the smaller amounts and non-cryogenic fuels aboard te
orbiter itself are kept there for some period of time).

Anyone that knows more (yes, I know that's most of you all here ) feel free to
please explain in more detail and we'll both learn more.

Thanks,
George
