Difference bewteen planet and planetoid?
I think this new planet definition should also clearly define what a
planetoid is - my feeling is that most of the kuiper belt objects would be defined as planetoids rather than planets - this would solve the problem nicely. Nathan |

A planetoid is a solar system object that is close to the gravitationally relaxed hydrostatic equilibrium state. 4 Vesta for instance. Small plutoids. http://cosmic.lifeform.org |
