Scott Grissom's Credibility

I have to say, when the new documentary comes out (and contrary to
what Scott posted here, there IS a film coming out) Scott is going to
be laughed right out of the space industry. He probably already has,
but not to the degree he will be when he makes the transition from
radio to film. And, he's too stubborn to listen.
I cannot WAIT until the day after the film's premiere, when NASA
personnel get on national television and say, "WHAT 'A & C safe
lights'? There is NO SUCH THING!"
Scott has worked night and day to try and destroy my credibility,
because he cannot stand the fact that I have actually STUDIED and
LEARNED that spacecraft. In the end, however, HE is the one who will
have no credibility left. That is a SAD, SAD legacy for his father,
but Scott has worked for it, and he's going to get EXACTLY what he
worked for.
It's a HUGE shame for the crew of Apollo One, who are the victims here
in more ways than one, but Scott has made it clear he is more
interested in a p****** match than the truth. I guess he's going to
get his wish.

You can ask, but LaToya has a policy of not telling.

This seems to be mostly because her claims are vapor.

For example, she claims to have a "team", but can't seem to remember the
names of anyone on the team. She also claims to have contacted law
enforcement personnel about Apollo 1, but can't seem to remember who or
where. She has lots of people giving her *secret* information, and claims
she can't reveal her sources for their "safety".

She at one time claimed to have been investigating Apollo 1 for over a
decade, although the most recent claim in this regard is 19 months.
Strangely, in spite of reading over 430 boxes of material from the National
Archives alone, she seems not to have taken any notes as part of her
investigation.

She also seems to have this strange fixation on torturing Betty Grissom.

Ugh. I really wish you hadn't asked, but since you did, here it is in
a NUTshell (yes, the pun was intended, and those who have been
following these threads will know exactly what I mean!).

Mark Estabrook and Scott Grissom are doing a documentary on Virgil
"Gus" Grissom.

Mark Estabrook has done a ton of videotaping so far. Some of that
will make the final cut, and become part of the actual documentary.
Tons of the videotaped stuff will end up on the cutting room floor, as
is the case with any film. You always take a lot more videotape than
you will actually need.

LaDonna Wyss is a self-proclaimed "expert" on Apollo 1 who blew into
ssh on her broomstick sometime in May/June, 2004. She has since been
exposed as a complete fraud (among other things!).

She somehow managed to snag Mark Estabrook into doing a videotaped
interview of her.

She's been boasting on ssh about her expertise, dropping names left
and right, and because she was asked to make copies, run errands, and
talk in front of the camera, she is now fantasizing about having a
major role in what she called an Apollo 1 film.

She got just a bit full of herself, though, thinking she was a bit
more important and valuable than she really is. She refused to sign a
NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) that had originally been offered to
her. As a result, the offer was withdrawn by the film maker. Most
recently, after her ranting email threatening to sue Estabrook and
Grissom, she was basically told by the film maker that he would no
longer be working with her, and that she was not guaranteed any
appearance at all in the final documentary. He also recommended she
get into counseling to deal with her obsessive and compulsive
behaviors.

As a result, she has gone totally ballistic and is puking venom all
over ssh.

Okay.... so the moral of this story is......

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... it's
probably a freaking duck.....

or in LaDonna's case:

If she writes like a crazy moron, thinks like a crazy moron, and acts
like a crazy moron.....

....Has anyone explained to this guy that if you use a proper TBC and
check your levels, second-generation dubbing in an editing suite
eliminates the need to splice tapes together? And you don't have to
worry about gumming up those impossible-to-clean Sony tape head drums,
either.
