North Korean [intestinal] worms on Mars?
http://www.astronomy.com/news/2017/12/worms-on-mars
Ironically, worms could be be the answer to feeding the pioneering Mars settlers. Even more ironically, North Korea could cut out the middle man [soil] and provide intestinal worms, in bulk, if bigger is better. Or, they could use their rockets to send North Koreans to Mars as a major publicity coup as Fuhrer Von Strumpet cuts back on NASA funding. Well used to extreme hardship, long term malnutrition and appalling daily stress in merely surviving. The North Koreans make ideal candidates for settling Mars. Anything to get away from North Korea without being shot in the back or poisoned! Downside, would be the weight of all those notebooks they'd need to record the vital daily insights of their cult leader. http://www.newsweek.com/why-north-ko...ler-won-730527 |

North Korean [intestinal] worms on Mars?
They once did make a movie, "Red Planet Mars", about a Mars that was ruled by
aliens under a Communist-like system, planning to invade Earth... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OXYLCVUaCc ah, Earth just intercepted their radio transmissions. And it starred the fellow who would later become Mission Impossible's Mr. Phelps! John Savard |

Actually, they weren't planning to invade earth. They were much too enlightened for that. And it starred the fellow who would later become Mission Impossible's Mr. Phelps! John Savard Who also starred in a number of B-grade SF films of that era. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Graves His brother was James Arness who retained a name closer to their real family name. I enjoyed the work of both actors, RIP. Arness was the alien in The Thing (from another world). There was another pair of brothers in the acting business who did some SF work that I liked: Rex and Rhodes Reason: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rex_Reason |
