It is easy to get bored with the same old same old stuff once you are 3-5
years into the hobby. I think it is great to see people set out on a path seldom travelled. I like doing that myself. Richard, you write wise words! I practise the hobby of the astronomy since 1970 without to have ever stopped. I have begun with the comet Bennet to which followed the observations of the comet Kohoutek, West, Iras Araki Alcock, Halley and so way.
