ASTRO: M99
No where as good as M104 but here it is anyway. Blue regions look cyan.
I found many other pictures of this guy showing the same cyan tint to the blue regions. So I guess I'm not so far off after all. Still it was taken on a night of horrid seeing and needs to be redone. Unfortunately, with all the clouds and even a bit of rain I've not been able to get anything new for over a month now and am down to processing the bottom of the barrel. I did this guy months back but seeing was so bad I forgot about it. I no longer use 5 minute sub frames unless the object is much brighter than M99. 14" LX200R @ f/10, L=6x5' binned 2x2 RGB=3x5' binned 3x3, STL-11000XM, Paramount ME -- Correct domain name is arvig and it is net not com. Prefix is correct. Third character is a zero rather than a capital "Oh". |
