Default Easter flyby - Jupiter near the moon

The early hours of Easter saw a pretty *almost*-occultation here in Sydney:
http://faxmentis.org/html/moonbyjove.html

3 exposures: one each for the Moon, Jupiter and the four Galileans, combined
in Photoshop for this montage.

Camera: Pentax *1stDS (stupid name - *great* camera)
Optics: Sigma 600mm mirror f/8
Exposures from 1/4 to 1/1000 sec, ISO nominally 200

Damn!
It looks great when these two dance in the sky together.

Great work. Really enjoyed the image and the rest of the site.

Nice shots. I liked the grouping of three shots exposed for moon, Jupiter &
Jup's moons.

Thanks for sharing.
