Introducing the Clear Sky Alarm Clock
You know all about the Clear Sky Clock.
I've spent the cloudy nights of the last 6 months working on a free Internet service to send emails to people based on the Clear Sky Clock. This free service will send you e-mail notifications of opportunities for observing based on the Clear Sky Clocks of Attilla Danko and the Canadian Meteorological Center. The site is in a Beta testing mode, so you may experience some unexpected results. I have been running it with a few subscribers the last few weeks and nothing too unusual has happened. I invite all astronomers who are more inclined to catch an e-mail, than to check the clock. There are a few features yet to be implemented, but it is ready to test to make sure it sends e-mail when it is appropriate. Check it out! http://www.casazza.net/csac/index.html Dark skies, Mark C |
