Dirk,
that looks very good, especially considering the exposure time. I also did M16 recently and in spite of much more exposure I don't think it'll turn out much deeper than your version. Stefan "DvandenH" schrieb im Newsbeitrag bel.net... HI all, Here a quick shot of the centre of the eagle nebula. 10 x 90 sec H-Alpha filter 10" SCT. Homebuild CCD cam cooled to -14degr. the sky wasn't that clear (lot of moisture which makes the stars bigger). Will try again with more transparent sky. Processing was done in Maxim and CS3 thanks for looking, -- Dirk van den Herik A journey of thousand lightyears starts with the first step. |

ASTRO: Eagle nebula detail Pilars of creation
Thanks Stefan, i have the same problem as you exp[osure time wise.. it's
only visible for one hour or so that makes it very difficult to image. Collect images from several years is a solution. Also the atmosphere was not in my advantage, so i will try again if the weather allows it. reg Dirk -- Dirk van den Herik A journey of thousand lightyears starts with the first step.
