STATION CREW GETS FINAL CALL

Students and educators will have the final classroom
chat with the ninth crew of the International Space Station
Tuesday at 11:25 a.m. EDT.

The Maryland Science Center will host students and teachers
from Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Elementary and Middle
School for the event. The call will be down linked and
broadcast live on the Web and NASA TV.

The Expedition 9 crew, Russian cosmonaut Gennady Padalka and
NASA astronaut Mike Fincke, will return to Earth this month
and be replaced by a new Station crew.

This activity supports NASA's efforts to encourage students
to study and possibly pursue careers in science, technology,
engineering and mathematics. It is an integral part of NASA's
Teaching from Space Program. The program builds partnerships
with the education community to create unique learning
opportunities through the use of NASA's research and
educational technology.

NASA TV is available in the continental U.S. on AMC-6,
Transponder 9C, C-Band, at 72 degrees west longitude. The
frequency is 3880.0 MHz. Polarization is vertical, and audio
is monaural at 6.80 MHz. In Alaska and Hawaii, NASA TV is
available on AMC-7, Transponder 18C, C-Band, at 137 degrees
west longitude. The frequency is 4060.0 MHz. Polarization is
vertical, and audio is monaural at 6.80 MHz.
