Default skylab with lunar module concept

I saw a drawing in a book a while back that showed skylab with a lunar
module docked to it were they thinking of putting one in lunar orbit
or use it to fly lunar missions from earth orbit?

Some of the early designs for the Apollo Telescope Mount were derived
from the LM (believe the final design was not).

There were Apollo Applications Program concepts for beyond-LEO Saturn
workshops, but they were all gone by the time the program was named
"Skylab". So if what you saw was really a "Skylab", then no, it wasn't
intended for lunar missions.

That was part of the original "Wetlab" (the interior of the space
station would be filled with LOX and LH2 during ascent, and the
astronauts would install extra equipment in it after it was in orbit
with its tanks empty) concept to be launched on a Saturn IB; the Lunar
Module would have the solar telescopes mounted in its descent module,
and use the ascent stage as a control room for the astronauts to operate
them.
The system that extended the LM's landing legs would be used to deploy
four large solar panels.
By the time it ended up on Skylab, its Lunar Module origins were no
longer recognizable:

I believe that it was the dry lab concept that was portrait in the movie.

Found photos of the model of it from the movie:

They've got the interior floor at a 90 degree angle from the way Skylab
did it: http://www.cloudster.com/Sets&Vehicl.../mskylab01.jpg
No LM based ATM on it though.
(That's from he
http://www.cloudster.com/Sets&Vehicl...dex.htm#icarus
Which has lots of interesting sci-fi movie models)
