Default Abell 39 - Planetary Nebula in Hercules

Fellow astrologers ... and Oriel,

Battling variable transparency and noticeable winds this evening while
in pursuit of the spherical and dim planetary nebula Abell 39 in
Hercules. The large bubble measuring five to six light-years across is
from a star which blew its material into space about 22,100 years ago.

For further details as well as a full-size crop of the planetary
itself, please see http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-DSO-Nebulae-PN-Abell-39.htm
..
