Standard and Poors assisted by lowering the United States of America's outlook to "negative", causing the markets to drop value and head in the negative direction of the Clinton years. Obama was overheard, although off-microphone as stating, "Soon the Dow will be back to it's rightful place and I can resume my saxophone lessons". We should note that with Obama's term more than halfway completed, the markets never even came close to the records they set under President George W. Bush, when the Dow experienced phenomenol growth to 14K, before the announcement that Obama would seek his party's nomination. That announcement had caused the market to come to a near collapse just before his election. *(see charts Sep 2008 through *Feb 2009) When asked to comment on the fact, Obama just nodded to advisers to add some more crack to the bowl of his saxophone as his economic advisors fetched the extended length barbeque lighter. On the bright side, the country has made it over the hump. So Liz will you be working the National Republican Party headquarters again? I bet those Pee Party members need a lot of sponge baths.
