Default East Veil

I imaged the East Veil near NGC 6992 in RGB 32:32:32 with 4 minute
unguided subframes.

Takahashi E160 f/3.3 astrograph, AP1200GTO, MX716, and TrueTechnology
filters.

I have included a simulated eyepiece view. I was surprised to see a
hint of the Veil in the C-11 at 97X without the aid of a filter. My
VLM was about 4.5.

Thank you for visiting my site.

Clear skies,

Hi Dennis,

If you use an OIII filter at the eyepiece, you will get a view very close
to your photograph with the color removed.
