Bright star in the SE
I have been noticing the last few nights a very bright pulsating star
in the SE, Im in Omaha, ne, at about 9pm. Its about 1/3 above horizon - pulsating like a diamond, red, blue lights. Im a rookie at this - whats the name of the celestial body I observed? |

Welcome to the group Bruce! As others have said, it sounds like Sirius.
I'm about 80 miles or so northeast of you, in Iowa. Marty |
