Don't split hairs, Trekkie. Nobody is trying to convince you that
Klingons are real people.

"Klingon" can refer either to a fictional race of extraterrestrials
which "exist" only in stories or to a real language which exists in the
real world. I don't think making a distinction between the two is
splitting hairs.

I don't think you understood my post. Pleiadians are just as fictional
as Klingons. Nutjob De Bohne believes they are real and that he is one
of them.

And to reply in the same spirit, don't assume I'm a Trekkie. I learned
Klingon because it's a fun language, not because I want to focus part
of my life on a television show.

I was just teasing, actually. But I have to say that anyone who knows
Klingon is, by default, a Trekkie, even if they never watch the show.

And everyone who knows Esperanto is by default a socialist twit, I
suppose ?

Why yes, that makes sense. A very good point!

how would you characterize arnold rimmer?

Let me ask Ace.

He acts like a Calvinist, if you ask me.

Yes, Ms. Alexa Cameron's scientific descriptive of our Star Race
Darla is correlating, thanks to coffee boy Bart Devo for his insightful
end post quoting. No wonder they drone quote her so much and Star Race
Darla is familiar with the coffee boy ways.

ponder on,
