Dispersive Signal Technology
I was reading this article:
http://www.eet.com/sys/news/showArti...cleID=21100344 Could this technology be used to detect a hull breach or impact due to micro-meteorites or space debris? They mention that it can work via electric fields as an alternative to vibrations. In addition to a applicability for space station or lunar/martian habitat, I was also imagining that it would be useful for the giant airship-to-orbit concept. |
