ASTRO: IC1274 in RGB: the Marriage of the Titans
I used the Proline 39,000 Color married to the AP180EDT f/9 again this
weekend. That monster refractor has met its match with this monster resolution camera, it is truly a Marriage of the Titans. This is the only image I've processed that I like so far. I may have some other good data but it takes time to process. I accumulated about 50 GB of data counting flats, biases and darks as well as image data. This beast can really fill up a disk fast! You need a fast computer with lots of ram too. anyway here's 2H 45 minutes of data (11 x 15 minutes) http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/ic1...aader_page.htm be sure to click the 39 megapixel version! |

Oooooh yeah baby! -- http://www.petersparrots.com http://www.insanevideoclips.com http://www.petersphotos.com A penguin had to take his car for engine repair. The mechanic told the penguin to leave his car with him for about two hours, to find out whats wrong. The penguin goes across the street to a grocery store, climbs into a freezer and eats vanilla ice cream. When the two hours was up the penguin went back to the garage to find out what happened to his car. When the penguin entered the garage, the mechanic looked at him and said, "Looks like you blew a seal." |

Beautiful image Richard.
The large version looks like you had to do a lot of smoothing, but the 6 megapixels look great. Stefan "Richard Crisp" schrieb im Newsbeitrag m...
