Does LHA stand for what I think it does? You are obviously too young
to remember that we were in a "cold war" for 40 years before we
defeated the USSR. Yeah, we dereated them only to take them in as a
political party here. 'D.' BTW, I'm not your buddy, ace.

LAH stands for "Mick"

Good luck with the neighbors..eh. Too bad our neighbors to the south are a
lot like the ones
you lament about.

Your thinking is so parochial
Your habits are so tribal
Your inadequacies so global
Your greed so all consuming
Your arrogance so blinding
Your power so corrupting
Your imbalance so bruising
Your people so long-suffering
Your "civilisation" is ending
Our world, is so unforgiving!

Are you talking to me or are you moaning about our collective failures?
Unless you live in a mud hut and eat bugs, I'd feel better if your poem was
a bit more introspective. Is that a solar powered computer you're using?

I guess _you_ need an education about using a proper usenet client.

Jim
.........

What a small mind it is that finds using a web browser and google to
post in a newsgroup AND risking the chance of the rare double post is
so noteworthy.

I know, and if it isn't as the previous post alluded, it up for grabs
right?

You'd have to ask a Canadian.

Some people are like slinky-springs: they serve no practical purpose but
they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the
stairs.

Ed T.

I would have quoted you had I wished to single you out for attention
Ed. Are you even capable of carrying the complete burden of global
responsibility alone?

My computer is wind-energy powered, I eat only ecologically grown food,
use only woodheating, solar, insulation, recycle and cycle.

My work is useful, directly & globally environmentally beneficial,
non-damaging, respects the environment and I live locally to avoid
commuting.

What did you for our world today Ed? ;-)

Regards
