This really does explain quite a lot of the crazy stuff in the
Republican party today. Note that the author does show a somewhat
leftist bias.

In particular, he adopts the common tactic of calling some extreme
group 'feminist' and dissociating himself from it, proving himself not
to be a 'feminist'. When I wrote him, he defended his policy (used in
this book) of alternating masculine and feminine generic pronouns and
even praised a female editor he'd had for enforcing the policy. That,
at least, makes him a 'feminist' to me.

Feminism was created by the Ruckafellers because they couldn't tax
half the population. Don't make no illusions about woman not being
free, they order men around for 100 000 years. Men do everything for
their woman. This includes dieing and handing over all their money.

We "free" our wimen now there isn't anyone left who knows how to cook
food. That babe with the moustache can only make Tee Vee dinners.

You think Tee Vee dinner is freedom?

The "religious right" has a much stronger logical foundation than any
liberal agenda. The problem with most liberals is that they think religion
is evil or irrational and hence oppose anything that has religion attached
to it even if itself is irrational.

I'm an agnostic(but leaning towards atheism) and I'll side with the
"reglious right" any day over the left. Socialism, narcissism, idealism, etc
of the left is almost completely irrational.

It took mother nature millions of years to find out the principle of natural
selection. Socialism/liberalism spits in the face of this despite most
liberals claiming to trust science over religion.

In any case while the "religious right" might start from a few wrong
premisis they have a better understanding of how the world works than most
liberals. I imagine this is due to the fact that most "liberals" have never
had to work a day of intense manual labor(such as plowing a field) so they
haven't developed what hard work has to offer.

Theres something that religion offers that liberals just don't get and it
has to do with principles beyond oneself. Even if religion is based on
wrong premises it doesn't mean that it is completely worthless.

In fact both sides have their pro's and con's... but what gets me is the
complete hypocrisy on the left and the lack of common sense(this is no doubt
from being spoon fed most of their life). Not only that but much of the
younger liberals are extremely hateful. They are liberal because their
parents are and they hate the other side and because they have no principles
they will attack them any way they can.

Take your average liberal and average conservative in put them on a dessert
island. How long can the liberal look for the starbucks cafe before he
realises it's not there? THen how long will he try to bum off the
conservative to survive?

How many murders are conservative vs liberal? How bout child rapists? What
about the majority of drug dealers? I guess all these people are
conservatives? I guess they are part of the "religious right"?

In any case I don't exect any liberal reading this to "get it" because most
are just as ignorant as the people they hate... which is unfortunate because
these are precisely the people that are claiming to be intelligent.

While I don't agree with the right on many issues(abortion, religion,
etc...) but I do realize that their princples lead to a much stronger
society than the left. I'm willing to give in because I believe they offer a
better outcome for humanity than the left. In an ideal world we wouldn't
have a left and right and people would all agree on the same issues because
it would be based on intelligence and logic.

Overall, I loved it: some serious and interesting psycho-sociology;
some good insights on what is going on in that land that has self-
appointed itself to save the whole planet from Satan in person; plus
an account that finally debunks -- on incontrovertible scientific
basis, I'd say -- this idea of the Big Conspiracy: in fact, they are
all, up and down that ladder, just a big bunch of terminal idiots.

I'm a republican(well, I'm an independent that rather associate myself with
the right than the lunatic left), I'm an agnostic(might as well be an
atheist), leans pro-choice, do not think creationism has an basis to be
taught in school as science, believes in evolution... yet on practical
matters I thinkt he "right" has it right! The left is a bunch of lunatics as
your comment shows. You claim the right are idiots because they are "satan
chasers" which shows that you are liberal mainly because you disagree with
the right about religion. i.e., you really have no sound foundation for
anything else.

If you hate the right because of religion then your just as moronic, if not
more, for them beleiving in religion. In fact all those "terminal idiots"
were the ones who built this country up to be the greatest nation it was...
I'm sure their belief in god, for better or worse, had something to do with
it. But now the left will undo all that has been done in the name of
"intelligence" yet they are no more intelligent than the right.

What really shows the ignorance of the left is their claim of having science
back them up yet the majority of the left has no clue what science is. They
claim somehow they are better than the right yet most are more arrogant,
more narcissistic and more greedy than the right. Their are many examples.

I have a degree in pure mathematics, I've studied physics, electronics,
music, martial arts, computer science and many other things so I would say
that I have some idea of what science is. The left, in general, are just as
ignorant about it as the right... if not more so because of the lack of
common sense. BTW, these things I've studied are not just trivial things.
I've composed sonatas in ccp style, I've taken courses in quantum mechanics,
I program in several langauges, have a black belt in tae kwon do(Although I
do not practice it), play guitar, have created many electronic
devices(guitar tube amp, motor controllers, pic programmers, etc..). I'm not
a genius by any measure but when the left claims ****, the majority of the
time it is not even remotely based in science let alone logical.

If you want to hate the right because their believe in god, which is not an
illogical believe hence why I am an agnostic and not a true atheist(which is
just an ignorant stance as claiming god exists), and that is the only reason
why you hate them and all your philosophical basis is only in opposition to
that then you are a moron.

The left is no better than the right and in fact is far worse. The left, in
general, has a superiority complex that is far worse than the rights
"believe in god". There are nut cases on both sides but the left seems have
that won by far. (it wasn't always the case and it seems the left uses past
historic examples to justify their hate for the right... the religious right
has matured a great deal and it would be nice if the left did the same)

I'm sure you're a very nice person, but you've been tricked into
spamming the science groups. Maybe this discussion is appropriate for
soc.men, which is no doubt what you intended.

Thanks, and have a lovely day.
